Originally Phuket born and raised, Chef Mond has acclimatized with Southern Thai cuisine since he was young as his family business has run Kaab Gluay restaurant in Patong city for more than 20 years.
After graduated culinary school in School of The Oriental Hotel Apprenticeship Programe (OHAP), he has proved himself to be the executive chef in foto hotel just only the age at 24.
Winning an episode of the popular Iron Chef Thailand 2020 competition gave Chef Mond even more of a following, well beyond Phuket, and the drive to share “how Southern people eat,” in a fine dining setting. He lights up when he talks about revolves his support around Southern Thai's local ingredients along with local farmers and local fishermen. He personally makes it his mission to reintroduce Southern-Thai culinary culture to well-known to mass public palate.
